Virginia Bill Watch

Pricing

You should be able to find out what this costs without booking a call. Here it is.

The Watch

$300 per month
  • A watch charter built around your issues before session opens
  • A plain-English report every morning during session
  • Every bill in your charter tracked, with status changes flagged
  • An end-of-session summary of what passed and what carried over

The Voice

$500 per month
  • Everything in The Watch
  • One-click emails from your members to their own legislators, matched by address to the right delegate and senator
  • Every message is unique to its sender: a member adds a few facts about their own situation and gets their own email in seconds, never the same blast pasted a hundred times
  • Your members send from their own addresses, so it reads like the constituent mail it is
  • No per-message platform fees

The Full Desk

$1,500 per month
  • Everything in The Voice
  • A custom legislator scorecard for your issues, included with an annual subscription
  • Committee and member research on request during session
  • A prep brief before any sit-down with a legislator: who they are, how they have voted on your issues, what to ask for, what you can offer them, and the questions to expect
  • One working session with your board each year
  • Direct line for the questions that come up at 8am on a hearing day

Billed monthly. Annual is the same price with the twelfth month free. Nothing is locked in for years, and nothing renews without being told to.

Custom legislator scorecards

A one-time project, not a subscription.

We take the issues that define your organization, score every member of the General Assembly against their actual recorded votes, and hand you the finished thing in a form your members can read.

What sets the price: how many issues you want scored

More than five issue areas is an enterprise build. We quote those individually.

$4,500 One issue area Every sitting member scored on one subject, across four sessions of recorded votes.
$6,000 Up to three issue areas Scored separately and together, so a member who is with you on one and against you on another shows up that way.
$7,500 Five issue areas Everything above, plus the members who have since left office and a web version your members can browse and sort themselves.

Included at no extra charge with an annual Full Desk subscription.

What a scorecard costs elsewhere

Virginia Bill Watch Our price $4,500 to $7,500
A national scorecard vendor Their price, not ours $8,000 to $30,000

Both bars run on the same scale, $0 to $30,000. The longer one is not ours. It is the published rate of the Institute for Legislative Analysis, which builds these platforms nationally, taken from its own pricing page so you can check it yourself.

We can build a scorecard for any organization, on any issue set, on either side of any question. That is what “just the data” means in practice, and it is worth saying out loud rather than discovering later.

What is not included.

We are not lobbyists. We do not contact legislators on your behalf, we do not register as your agent, and we do not run your campaigns. If your board decides it wants a lobbyist, that is a different budget. Virginia lobbyists register with the state and report what they are paid, and the organizations at the top of that public list report six figures a year. We are happy to say so plainly.

What we do is different and cheaper: we make sure that when the decision lands, you knew it was coming and you knew who was in the room.

Session opens January 13, 2027.

Charters are built in December, which means a subscription that starts now includes the setup.
